Impoverished Grass

Took a slightly longer and different route with the dogs tonight. We walked the dogs along the beach whilst Stina did her couch to 5k run along the cycle path. We walked along to meet her running back along the path we then walked back to the beach and in doing so passed a sign about the dune system. The impoverished grass was the section of grass in the between the cycle path and the path at the edge of the dune. Not sure why its impoverished, perhaps we should start an appeal- "HELP THE IMPOVERISHED GRASS!"
