Burgos: Picnic and volleyball

Today I went to my first couchsurfing meet up -it was a picnic and volleyball event (merienda y voley). It was in (yet another!) beautiful park, by an artificial beach by the river. It was great fun! I met lots of locals and a couple of girls I had met before, and had a good time getting to know different people in the couchsurfing community. I, needless to say (for those who know me!) skipped out on the volleyball but ate lots of delicious Spanish food. Lots of people brought tortilla, bread and chorizo -a winning combination!
