Dhalia survivor

Yes late blip, nearly dark and this dahlia, can't remember it's name became the subject. I decided to leave all dahlias in situ last autumn. I don't have a green house and if in a shed I'd forget them anyway. So this one is a survivor not just from cold but from slugs and snails which seem to be of epidemic proportions this year.
