The Great Plain of New York

Victor-Bloomfield NY stretches from Syracuse to Buffalo just North of the Finger Lakes. This was scoured by the last glacier and left more or less flat. to the east of Rochester are many drumlins N-S hills[moraines from eartier glaciers] that the glacier rearranged but didn't flatten. just south of here are the Finger lakes that were gouged out by the last tendrils of ice
