Picturesque

All the buildings here are sandy in colour. I commented on the drive from the airport on mainland Malta that it's how I imagine Israel or somewhere to look! Parts are rundown and ramshackle, others are stunningly beautiful. Gozo is just perfect for us this week. It's taken me 3 days to figure out that the clock (although the hands don't ever move!) rings out the time every 15 mins. I weirdly like it. Don't want to go home.
