Glastonbury day 5 - storyteller Adrian
Another fine person in the tipi field at Glastonbury, who is also a good family friend, is Adrian Beckingham, a storyteller and author.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, with Aboriginal family roots, he tells his stories wonderfully, unrushed, yet captivating.
He's a writer of children's books, but has also just finished a 'grown up' book about pirates and the greatest pirate heist ever, a true tale which has never been written about before, which will be published in September.
From what he told us about the remarkable story, I'll eat my hat if it doesn't become a Radio 4 Book of the Week, a TV documentary, and I'll put a fiver on Hollywood sniffing round too. It's that good. And so is Adrian.
