Lunch, with a view

We went out to lunch today at Sillico, a town not far away, perched on a mountain top.

The view was stunning, and the food was too. The anti-pasti was awesome, a selection of cold meats, pickles, bread and cheese, though I think the highlight was the deep fried scrambled egg with cheese (would love to know how they made those !)

The pigs are still contained, so as a reward I gathered them some windfall cherries. They didn't last long !

Weather is still changeable, this picture taken at the best of the day, an hour later the clouds had gathered and the rain set back in.
