Comfort

I wasn't sure what to blip as my astonishingly wonderful Samsung mobile has been sent away for repair (at least two and up to six weeks) with this morning's blip on board. Silly me. I have had to re-think and resort to using a real camera!

On my way to the kitchen, my eye fell upon this, one of my favourite of my daughter's drawings, a strange little pen and ink called Comfort. I miss my daughter's companionship and long for her to get in touch. Patience is not always one of my better skills.

Today, I feel mostly contented, and at the same time it's as though my heart is lightly touched by feelings of loss and despair, and metaphorically my head is in my hands. I am seeking the comfort of my inner 'monsters' (even monsters have a positive intention in my map of the world) and the robust kindness of strangers would be most welcome.
