Bert Blower, Station Foreman

The Sir Nigel Gresley had just left Pickering at 1500 this afternoon and the platform was empty except for the Station Foreman. His name was Bert Blower, and I thought it was such an appropriate name for someone responsible for steam locomotives.
He did not know why I wanted to take his portrait until I explained that I would like to eventually photograph all the staff who work at Pickering Station.
