Hooray For Friends And Cake

After a day of rather a lot of work at the keyboard it was good to stroll into town and meet with fellow blipper and dear school friend from way back, Cathaber, as she journeyed cross country from another visit.

We had time for tea and cake and a chat before Cath continued on her way home.

I have never seen so many species of bee in this tiny garden in previous years. This is (I am almost sure) an Andrena flavipers or Mining Bee of which there are many variants.
