Scuttled in to hide but ready to shoot out and pounce anything that lands on it's web.

It can wait and wait until the right moment before inflicting maximum damage and shattering dreams. The trick is to deal with it head on, and sooner rather than later. It doesn't need to be killed, certainly not, just redirected.

In this case it needs leaving alone to get used to its own life and doesn't need assisting, it will learn and adapt, it's big enough.
