Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the Athletics Stadium for the Commonwealth Games.

In what has become know as The Scottish Model the track has been installed above the football pitch. The technology actually comes from The City Games that are part of The Great North Run weekend.

So the stadium is ready.
The athletes are ready.
I am ready (but you knew that already!!)
