Back home on Cleeve Hill this afternoon and Mum and Dad's garden looks wonderful. Last week they took part in the national open gardens scheme so Dad has spent many hours battling the weeds! 11 years ago the 'sheep' in this picture wore lilac bows to match the lilac flowers behind as the garden was prepared for our wedding.

The weather here has been lovely this afternoon and a welcome change from the last days of rain in Crozet.
