Exam day...and a trip...and a quiz

It was Ophelia's first ballet examination this morning. We had to be there bright and early. Getting everyone ready, dropping off Grace at before school club, picking up Ophelia's friend and getting them to town by 8:15am was a bit of a challenge, but we made it, even if Ophelia's hair wasn't perfect.
The little ones did very well apparently :) After the exam I dropped the girls off at school and had a little rest in the garden before picking up Ophelia again at lunch time. This afternoon I took the girls back to town as Grace's class had an outing to The Priory school's summer fair. One of her class has dual admission and spends some time each week at the Priory, which is a fabulous special educational needs school. I was an extra adult body to help out. As it's swimming lessons day, we stayed in town after the fair and played in the park before having tea at wetherspoons. I was very proud of the girls' behaviour and they cleared up their plates too! Swimming was next, then home. The girls had their reports from school. Very proud I am :)
I'm less proud of my team's performance in the quiz tonight. It was to raise money for the village netball club and unbeknownst to us beforehand it was a sports quiz. Oh no! We weren't last at least...
Tired now. The weekend is just beginning and we have very busy one ahead!!!
