Distancing

I am so o grateful that it is Friday evening and the weekend is ahead. I have only 6 more weeks of work, one of which will be a vacation week. I am feeling myself disengage, and begin the termination process. It will be hard to leave the place where I have spent the last 35 years, but whenever I think about my upcoming retirement, I feel a sense of giddy euphoria. I think that’s the way it's supposed to feel.

Looking forward to tomorrow when I will have time to catch up with journals and comments.
