Lost in the city

What shocking weather we have had over the last few days. I feel for those further north, Auckland city seems to have missed the worst. A break between showers this afternoon and I got out for a bit of a jog without getting wet. Got hopelessly lost for a short moment though trying to take a short cut down from Albert park through the university grounds.
Interesting history from Albert park....here is a snippet from internet research :-
"The two muzzle-loading guns on display were originally brought to New Zealand in 1879 and set up in forts at North Head and Point Resolution to defend the harbour. The guns were buried in 1941, as it was feared that they might attract enemy aircraft. They were unearthed in 1977".
