Slim Pickin's

Thought I'd better head up and water the allotment tonight after the last few days of sunshine. Boy it needed it! The strawberries are done already and the new rasps won't be fruiting this year; only the blueberries and red currents to come then and they aren't quite there yet. So not much of a fruit salad really! It's looking like another disaster with the spuds as well, there are a fair few shaws that were looking good last week but now seem to have blight of some kind. Maybe the foxes are peeing on them!

Then up to the St Vincent for Jack's big Quiz 100; the 100th one he's made and every question with a 100 theme. Well, fair to say we were even worse than usual at getting any answers right! But it was a good laugh and nice to see Graeme & Gillian out and about, it's been yonks.
