Wet, wet, wet in Chicago

I have never been so wet in my life. Not even in Hong Kong's black rain storms. This stuff is biblical! But a blipper has to get her blip, so I paddled to the Cloud Gate, or the 'Bean' in Chicago's Millennium Park.

This shot taken while sheltering under the bean. You can see the rivers of water running on the roof (if beans can have rooves) above me.

Cloud Gate was designed by Anish Kapoor and dedicated in 2006. It is made of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, but its highly polished exterior has no visible seams. Quite amazing.

Well, I'm off to find coffee and some dry clothes ...
