Discarded

Posting this so early because the moment I saw it I knew I couldn't possibly find anything better to blip.

Mom had her old paintings out, she'd been keeping them in a black bin liner squashed up in a cupboard somewhere & I told her off... I'm going to buy her an art folder asap!

She told me that these are few of hundreds that survived her brutal clear out years ago apparently she threw out loads of paintings like these!


Of course I'm bias but I love them!
Some parts are out of proportion & no john lemons teeth aren't that big usually...

But I find it fascinating as I never knew this side of my mom, this was all while she was at school. In fact most of them are done on sugar paper from her old high school (which I also went to years later...) so it's all quite sentimental :)
