Arlington Fly-In

My son is a real aviation buff and is studying to be a mechanic so he invited us all to a "Fly-In." This was my first time at such an event and it was really enjoyable. For one thing, the Fly-In was held in a town called Arlington in the Skagit Valley. It's a beautiful location and one could see Mount Rainier and snow capped peaks of the Cascades. It was enjoyable walking around seeing the planes, talking with people. Then, there was a stunt event and this red plane was gorgeous. The sexists that we are, we referred to the pilot as a man. Another onlooker corrected us and told us it was a 58-year-old female pilot! She was great.
