more flowers

I wasn't going to have flowers this week as the roses were still just ok but I still ended up in the florists gossiping. I came away with a number of thistles - this is one of them. Stunning.

Today has been spent tidying up - the kitchen, paperwork etc. I am almost ready to complete the dreaded tax return which is not normally done until at least the end of September.

Looking forward to seeing Wendy tonight - hoping that the rain holds off so I can bbq our dinner.
