Taste of summer

I picked these yummy strawberries in the garden today. This year has seen a bumper crop - I guess we have had 'Goldilocks' conditions - not too hot, not too cold, just right :)
The same cannot be said about my broccoli - it has flowered and gone to seed and looked more like some mad wildflower, than a vegetable. It has now been cleared out and I shall just sow more lettuce seed for the bunnies.
