Regatta

Today was the Wargrave regatta.

I was in the classic drawn punts double, sit on kyak, anne ried kyak enduro and dongling.

~ classic drawn punting ~ I won my heat and then lost in the semi final.

~ sit on kyak ~ unfortunately I lost my heat. Hannah my good friend beat me and got to the final. However there she lost.

~ anna ried kyak enduro ~ in this race you are required to singally kyak up the river then run up the lane, drink a cup of water, run back and then kyak back to the club. I came joint second with Izzy and had my photo taken for the Henley standard.

~ dongling ~ I love my dongling team. I was the eldest in the boat. And my good friend and kyak instructor Chris Jennings steered us. We won heats. Then we won the quarters and semis. We eventually went on to win the whole event. So proud of my team.

Overall had an amazing day and am looking forward to competingin the Wargrave and Shiplake regatta in a few weeks time.
