alltogether.....

....well not quite, but it was the biggest blathering of blippers I'd ever seen; someone on Bambuser asked me how many were in attendance and I said approx 150 including families, but there could have been many more.

Small hiccup at the start as a few us of gatecrashed the set-up of a Burns Supper in the building next door. At 6.05pm and no sign of Joe and G, the penny dropped and we went looking for the correct place, which was rather obvious due to the huge screens covered in Blipfoto images.....the irony of a lost Scout Leader wasn't lost on a couple of observers!

Met up with heaps of people I'd met before and many more I'd only met on-line and every conversation was delightful; if sometimes a little short because of Owen distractions. Discovered that this blipper is a capped Scottish Internationalist at Rugby and played in a World Cup. Learned that Cherryblossom thinks MAIT is my wife, and I finally got to meet BB after all these years. Everyone....it was too brief but a real pleasure.

I bumped into blipfoto's accountant and his wife, both looking slightly horrified for different reasons; the accountant was watching the free beer flying off the table and his wife seemed very concerned with my slightly OCD explanation of the one shot a day principle as she edged out the door.

I could go on and on, but the whole event was just great, and yet again I find myself feeling buckets of gratitude toward everyone at Blipfoto and their long suffering families. Guys, these are good times and I'll look back in later life with great fondness of the richness you brought to me through Blipfoto. Cheers again.
