Holding on

This is a tendril of the Passion Flower holding tightly onto something - but what?

This fruit grows on a tree in the garden. But what is it? I am sure that someone will know.

It was very warm today - warmer than expected.

The air conditioning in Mr F's car has ceased to work and we had to drive 100 miles to pick up Master F's new car. His car is a 2002 Ford Fiesta - it doesn't have air con either and I drove it back with the window wound down. He only has a provisional license so couldn't drive it back on the motorways. The red flash has been well windswept.

He is very pleased with his new car and we have been for a drive this evening so the he can start to practice.
