Yellow Crowned Night Heron

Pleasure House Point never disappoints…I went there to walk; I was not expecting to see much as the sun was high and the tide was high. It turned out that I had several shots to choose from…a green heron, orange sulfur butterfly, wood nymph butterfly, and a couple of juvenile yellow crowned night herons. I also saw an egret, a great blue heron, dragonflies, a dog dog-paddling in the water, a boat pulling in crab traps, kayakers and fishermen.
