Prairie Chicken on the U of C campus

today was rather uneventful; I spent most of the day at uni and in my office; but since my office looks rather empty without any books and pictures on the wall (these are all in the container that is currently shipping across the Atlantic) I thought I upload a picture of one of the many pieces of art work on campus; this sculpture is by Vancouver artist George A. Norris (1928-2013) and it was erected in 1975, it is untitled but apparently it is referred to as the Prairie Chicken; Norris did some really cool stuff (as you can see here: http://designkultur.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/sculptors-r-i-p-george-norris-1928-2013/)
