Will the Circle Be Unbroken

On our way to a conference in Nashville, we realized that on Thursday morning we had several hours of "found time." Normally when we travel, we allow sufficient time to travel, but not enough to explore or experience the flavor of our destination. After discovering that this morning was completely unbooked, we decided to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. The museum is beautifully appointed and well designed, integrating cultural, historical and musical information in an engaging way. The museum presented country music as a force that served to unite people from all different backgrounds in a way that no other art form can imitate.
This photo was taken in the rotunda, where numerous plaques line the walls as a tribute to those who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Looking up, you can see the clouds and sky through a glass portion of the ceiling. Around the perimeter of the circle above your head is the phrase "Will the Circle be Unbroken." The phrase is repeated around the circumference, as though it is infinite. I framed the words out of sequence, because I think they have more impact that way.
