Burrell Collection
Today we went to visit The Burrell Collection in Glasgow. Neither of us had been there since school trips when we were little, and it was Kerr's first time too. We only had time to see around half of it, so will go back again soon to see the rest. There are some amazing exhibits - it's hard to believe they all once belonged to just one person.
Had lunch in the cafe at the Burrell Collection, then headed to my parents' house for a family dinner to celebrate dad's birthday which was yesterday. We played some good games after dinner to entertain my 5 year old niece - one of them was a treasure hunt where each person follows their own piece of coloured string which is all tangled up around the furniture in the lounge and around the other pieces of string and finally to an individual prize - got some good photos of that too which nearly made today's blip.
In the end I decided on this one - Kerr and I looking at one of the massive tapestries. Taken by kerrsdaddy.
