Big news all round

Karen has become engaged. Liz has been promoted. I didn't really have big news to share but I'm hugely supportive when it comes to celebrations. The three of us met for champagne. Then Karen suggested a restaurant she knows. Sadly it is sooooo meaty than there wasn't a single veggie option on the menu (time for a rethink Mr Oliver?). The staff were very accommodating and they whipped something up for me.

Astonishingly I made it to the station on time. I had to run though. Another late night for me. I think I'm too old for this lark.
