Tale Of Two Halves
First half of the day was great. After cleaning the house we worked in the garden and I took Arthur to tesco to buy new hanging baskets. He played outside going down the slide and both munchkins were in bed by seven and the Helen and I sat down to watch a film. At around eight, Annie was crying and Helen went upstairs.
Second half. Helen came downstairs with Annie who was struggling to breathe. We took a quick decision and I set off with her to Bedford hospital. Annie was wheezing horribly which at least meant that it was obvious to the staff at the hospital within two minutes she was being tested by a nurse and then he took her straight to the doctor. After listening to her chest we went to a children's cubicle and then I say trying to keep the nebuliser near Annie's mouth. Fortunately it worked and by 11.40 I was home with a very tired Annie.
Bloody awful night but thank god Annie is now fine though we now have an inhaler which trying to make her take is proving tricky.
