Dahlia

wet wet wet!!! that best describes today!! after the lovely hot sunshine of yesterday afternoon it is not the best day with some local roads flooded. Dont you love british summertime?!

on the plus side and in between showers i managed to get out in the garden and spotted my first dahlia flower of the year! They are my favourite flower and my grandad used to grow them in his garden so his love for them must have rubbed off on me! Hope he's proud of me carrying on the family dahlia growing tradition!
