'Messing about on the River'

Had a lovely afternoon walking along the River Itchen with three of our four Grandsons...the eldest, Thomas went to see a friend.

We watched the canoeists having a great time..some were having lessons..others were just chilling out. After a much needed ice cream, as it was really hot we went to the park opposite, watched a cricket match, and the boys had fun on their scooters.

The collage shows Pete with Peter, Alex and Will on the left. The bearded man was very happy to pose for me in his canoe or is it a Kayak? I always get them mixed up. Alex tells me Canoes are longer than Kayaks!

Meanwhile my daughter and son-in-law are having a great time in Birmingham at the 1920's themed Summer Ball......much needed time out for them!
