Soulac sur Mer

Our first trip into Soulac was very pleasant. Quite an interesting little seaside town, not over loaded with tourism, all very pretty, an attention to the architectural detail. The history of the town is intriguing, the town was seemingly buried for several hundred years by the sand dunes, then a man used to attach his donkey to a cross in the ground. One day he decided to dig to see the cross and found a 11th century church attached to it.

Added already to the list of places where I would have a house if I won a lottery I never buy tickets for.
