Stisted Family Worship

This morning we enjoyed breakfast in the pews with the good folks of Stisted, followed by the best prepared Family Worship ever! Telling and re-telling of stories, interactive prayers, truly whole congregation participation, great use of multi media ..... and a whole lot more. Well done Pat and the good folks of Stisted. The church building is ancient, now bordered by the 9th green of the local golf club, and has worked on it's insides with glass partitions & re-located font, right in the middle of the church.

According to Wikipedia, Stisted is a civil parish, Church of England parish, and former manor near Braintree, Essex, England. Andrew Motion, a former Poet Laureate, was raised there.

I've always thought that the balance between the side of my mind that knows what it is doing and the side that really hasn't got a clue has to be carefully maintained because if you write too knowingly then you get chilly, and if you write too unknowingly you write b******* that nobody else can understand.
