Swan Synchronicity
At the end of the Forth and Clyde Canal, where it enters the Firth of Clyde at Bowling, I came upon a family of swans with four cygnets that have survived the predation of perch and foxes that account for the death of many new fledglings on the canal. It was a magnificent sight to see them taking so much time to preen their feathers which, of course, they must do to keep them waterproof. Not all summers are like this! Today glorious sunshine returned. This shot of a parent and two cygnets captured synchronicity! Synchronicities are those moments of “meaningful coincidence”.
