North to Alaska!

A very Blipful day, with lots of choices to be made.

1. Meeting twelve members of the Berlin Harley Davidson Club, looking for all the world like the Loons of Lucifer.

2. The Flag Raising Ceremony at Sir James Saviles cottage - he has two ( cottages and flags)

3. The most dramatic mountain scenery I've seen in a long while ,worthy of Götterdämmerung

....and the above. How could I resist an homage to our Alaskan chums. I was passing the only floats planes in the country and had to schmooze a close up. In a land full of loch and mountains we have two aircraft, how stupid is that.

Anyway, the crew were very helpful and let me wander around snapping away.

If only I could have put all the elements together how cool an image would that have been? Flag raising under brooding mountains, while a flypast of float planes takes the ponytails off the bikers.
