Claydon House
We decided to have a trip over to our favourite National Trust house, Waddesden Manor. When we got there the heavens opened and it was absolutely pouring with rain, so we would have got drenched if we'd got out of the car. We gave it up as a bad job and decided to have a leisurely drive home and on the way we passed another National Trust house, Claydon House.. It had stopped raining so we called in for a look round and a bit of lunch. This doorway was at the end of one of the stable blocks and there was also a very photogenic 'shop front' for an artist's gallery in a converted stable. I couldn't decide which picture to use so in the end I went for this one, and the other can be a Blip next time I'm passing here!
