Beetle

What variety of beetle I do not know. Chance sighting in the garden on a particularly nasty weed. He was obliging enough to stay put whilst I went indoors to fetch the camera. Heavily cropped; and I can never seem to focus on an insect's eyes.

Back down to earth today. A big thank you to all who came by yesterday with congratulations and to sprinkle a few stars.

Big stage win for Tony Martin today. I missed most of the race because I was playing recorder for a song at church this morning. Catchy, simple singable tune of the type I like the best and in a key I'm comfortable with.

Now which team will win the Word Cup? Who are you hoping will win?
