Whitley Bay!

I am up in the North East for the next few days preparing for my new job starting in the next academic year. I have the admin side of things on the agenda tomorrow and a day in what will be my classroom on Tuesday.

I travelled up from Birmingham today, I still pinch myself as I drive along the motorways...feel so grown up!! I had a fabulous time taking a trip to Whitley Bay, which is very close to Cramlington where I'll be working. This lighthouse is a huge childhood memory for me, a lighthouse that featured in many a childhood dream!! It was a pleasure to go on a long stroll by the sea front :-D

I love my new neighbourhood already!
