Wedding Candles?

It's the penultimate day of my week off, and today I did ... nothing!

Well, that's not quite true, as I stuffed some washing in the washing machine and did the weekly shop, but otherwise I spent the day in the garden reading.

I managed to stir myself to stick the camera on the tripod and take a macro shot of these tiny flowers on a spike of Verbascum, which has the common name Wedding Candles, probably quite appropriate as Saturday is a popular day for weddings throughout the land!
