White's

An amusing evening spent collecting an ebay kayak for a friend. I had hoped it would fit inside the van, but it wouldn't have been much fun for the passenger, so we tied it on to the roof. We were just waiting for it to fall off, or for us to be stopped by the police, and took the country lanes rather than the A46 back, but all was well. I've been promised a go in it.

We then had to find space in my friend's landlady's garage for it, and while we were in there I spotted this old box. My grandmother used to work at Whitbread and when I was young we had a supply of stripy cans of White's lemonade. I believe my dad also had the odd beer, which my mother think's may have been a factor in his proposal.
