Practical gardening

Here is the result of my decision to let go of the possibility of this little patch ever being a herb garden again.

A rough clearing of the bed, now mainly couch grass, self seeding weeds and bluebell bulbs. Then a good few doses of water before elder son did a bit of patchwork with the B&Q turf.

Very bumpy, which is a good match to the rest of the garden
