My Beautiful Niece Ally

Today was a funny old day.
I'm in Essex visiting my family; my mum has her best friend Angela over from Cyprus with her husband Brian but today Angela fell and broke her collar bone and elbow. It was a silly slip but she now needs surgery Monday to put her elbow back together.
Last night I was at a fab house party with my sisters Maria and French until 3:15 this morning (M & I, French left at 5:15) but poor Angela had her accident so I ended up at A&E with my mum and Ally at midday.
I haven't seen Angela and Brian for so many years I can't count and sadly they retired to Cyprus only for Brian to have a terrible fall within their first year there and is paralysed from the waist down and since then (circa 7years) has been wheelchair bound.
Broken bones have always made me feel incredibly sick but not hospitals until today.
2 years ago I fell (again a silly slip) and broke my wrist in three places; bizarrely it didn't make me feel sick but today as I was in the cubicle with Angela and her son Stuart listening to the doctor I could feel myself getting to the sick fainting stage.
I'm such a woose!! Anyway, I went outside for fresh air and waited for my mum plus Stuart to sort things then drove back to mums to pack a bag as she will stay with them to play nursemaid while care is sorted for Brian.

After all this was over Ally and I went to Mersea Island to breathe.
Mersea island is so calming and the place I always go to when in Essex to listen to the sea and find calm within me.
Phew!!!
