In the garden of Eden.....

some thousands of years later in York.... This was the second of the waggon plays that we watched today, and very well done it was too. These young people who played Adam, Eve and the devil did a great job. We watched ten of the twelve plays that were on offer, each portraying a bible story from the Creation to the Resurrection. Ed and his dad were pulling the waggon for the crucifixion scene which was the most dramatic and most moving of the plays, but maybe a bit too harrowing a blip. The weather suddenly improved at lunchtime which made for a more pleasant day than we anticipated when we first got up. Just back from a cracking Italian supper, feeling full and very mellow. It's been a super weekend!
