All the Fun of the Fair!

Today was School Fair day at my granddaughter's primary school. Here they are with my daughter trying their hand at fishing for a duck, which was actually quite hard!
Traditional games and stalls, bouncy castles, cakes,plants, popcorn, balloons, splat the rat, tombola - they were all there, and various groups sang, played and danced on the stage during the afternoon.
The sun was out and it was very hot indeed!
We didn't win a raffle prize (quite fancied tea for two at the Savoy) but the prizes also included a Chromebook and 4 tickets for the London Eye!
Considerably more exciting than our usual village raffles at home!
After more than two hours at the Fair, we walked back and relaxed in the cooler and greener surroundings of their own garden!
