Moonshine

A rubbish day brings a dull weekend to a close. A flat tyre a lunchtime quashed my plans for the afternoon. I did a shop for the week. Knocked up a nice Greek salad for tea. Had a good idea for a concept shot - I'll keep that one on hold for the time being.

Chatting to Spilmah on FB - she tipped me off that the moon was looking good. I had to wait a while for it to rise above the tree tops. Meanwhile the German national team played football in some tournament somewhere or other.

I quite like taking shots like this. Sometimes I read criticism of this lens....but for a single carry-everywhere, do-everything lens, I reckon it's pretty good. Certainly good enough for me.
