Shooting the Moon
Last night was a super moon. I read everything I could find about how to shoot a photo of the moon. I waited until after midnight when the moon was above the trees and visible from my backyard. I set up my tripod and telephoto lens and took lots of photos of an incredible moon. When I finally got a chance to look at my photos, I was extremely disappointed and really bothered by what I could have done wrong. After doing a little research, however, I learned that hot humid summer weather near a large metropolitan area with air pollution is not the best place to try to shoot the moon. Duh!
So instead of the super moon, here is a squirrel blip. They are awfully cute but can be quite a nuisance.
