New snow and sun and crowds. So many in fact that they closed the entrance gates about ten. Do not think I have ever seen so many people and cars. This is the top of the base building, and beyond is Lake Hawea with misty clouds lifting off it.
Managed one blissful set of turns in fluffy soft smooth new snow. Felt like I was floating on air. After that there was no untracked snow. It was really worth it for that one perfect run.
