The Pond

On an otherwise uneventful day I remembered to take a quick snap with my cameraphone whilst spending the evening out.
The Pond is a great pub that I rarely get to due to it being about 150 yards further away than my favourite pub, The Carriers Quarters. There's not much to The Pond, apart from the fact that it has a pond in the beer garden (or smoking room as the're now known) and a barbie that you can use for free if you give them warning. Wide range of beers (including Kirin Ichiban on draught) impressive selection of snack products (we had a packet of pork scratchings and a packet of scampi fries) a smattering of board games to keep you occupied.
